Indian Army is inviting application from the eligible candidates for the Army Recruitment Rally which is going to be conducted from 04/02/2019 to 14/02/2019 at 8 Assam Police Ground Abhaypuri, Dist Bongaigaon (Assam) for recruitment to the posts of Soldier General Duty, Soldier Technical, Soldier Nursing Assistant, Soldier Tradesman and Soldier Clerk/ Store Keeper Technical/ Inventory Management. INDIAN ARMY INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR ARMY RECRUITMENT RALLY FOR RECRUITMENT TO THE POSTS OF SOLDIER GENERAL DUTY, SOLDIER TECHNICAL, SOLDIER NURSING ASSISTANT, SOLDIER TRADESMAN AND SOLDIER CLERK/ STORE KEEPER TECHNICAL/ INVENTORY MANAGEMENT. LAST DATE — 31/12/2018

 

Candidates belonging to the districts of Lower Assam namely Barpeta, Kokrajhar, Dhubri, Bongaigaon, Chirang, Goalpara, Kamrup (Rural), Kamrup (Metro), Baksa, Nalbari, Udalguri, Darrang & South Salmara Mancachar are only eligible to apply. Recruitment Rally will be conducted from 04/02/2019 to 14/02/2019 at 8 Assam Police Ground Abhaypuri, Dist Bongaigaon (Assam) for recruitment to the above posts.

 

1. SOLDIER GENERAL DUTY
Educational Qualification: i) SSLC/ Matric with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject.
ii) No aggregate percentage required for higher qualification i.e. 10+2 and above, however minimum 33% in each subject required.
Age Limit: Born between 01/10/1997 to 01/04/2001.

 

2. SOLDIER TECHNICAL
Educational Qualification: 10+2/ Intermediate exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject.
Age Limit: Born between 01/10/1995 to 01/04/2001.

 

3. SOLDIER NURSING ASSISTANT
Educational Qualification: 10+2/ Intermediate exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry Biology and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and minimum 40 % in each subject.
Age Limit: Born between 01/10/1995 to 01/04/2001.

 

4. SOLDIER TRADESMAN
Educational Qualification: 10th/ ITI (except for Syce, Mess Keeper and House Keeper who may be 8th pass).
Age Limit: Born between 01/10/1995 to 01/04/2001.

 

5. SOLDIER CLERK/ STORE KEEPER TECHNICAL/ INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
Educational Qualification: 10+2/ Intermediate exam pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% in each subject.
Should have studied and passed English and Maths/ Accounts Book keeping in Class X or Class XII with 50% marks in each subject.
Age Limit: Born between 01/10/1995 to 01/04/2001.

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Physical Measurement Test, Physical Fitness Test, Medical Test and Common Entrance Examination (CEE).

Upon successful submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO ANYWHERE AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
