Indian Army, Army Recruiting Office Mangalore, is inviting application from the eligible candidates for the posts of Soldier General Duty (All Arms), Soldier Technical, Soldier Tech Nursing Assistant (AMC)/ Nursing Assistant Veterinary, Soldier Clerk/ Store Keeper Technical (All Arms) and Soldier Tradesman (All Arms). INDIAN ARMY, ARMY RECRUITING OFFICE MANGALORE INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR THE POSTS OF SOLDIER GENERAL DUTY (ALL ARMS), SOLDIER TECHNICAL, SOLDIER TECH NURSING ASSISTANT (AMC)/ NURSING ASSISTANT VETERINARY, SOLDIER CLERK/ STORE KEEPER TECHNICAL (ALL ARMS) AND SOLDIER TRADESMAN (ALL ARMS). 1. SOLDIER GENERAL DUTY (ALL ARMS)
Educational Qualification: Class 10th/ Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject.
Age Limit: Born between 01/10/1998 and 01/04/2002.

 

2. SOLDIER TECHNICAL
Educational Qualification: 10+2/ Intermediate Exam Pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject.
Age Limit: Born between 01/10/1996 to 01/04/2002.

 

3. SOLDIER TECH NURSING ASSISTANT (AMC)/ NURSING ASSISTANT VETERINARY
Educational Qualification: 10+2/ Intermediate exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and minimum 40% in each subject.
Age Limit: Born between 01/10/1996 to 01/04/2002.

 

4. SOLDIER CLERK/ STORE KEEPER TECHNICAL (ALL ARMS)
Educational Qualification: i) 10+2/ Intermediate Exam pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% in each subject.
ii) Securing 50% in English and Maths/ Accounts/ Book Keeping in Class 12th is mandatory.
Age Limit: Born between 01/10/1996 to 01/04/2002.

 

5. SOLDIER TRADESMAN (ALL ARMS)
Educational Qualification: i) Class 10th Simple Pass.
ii) No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored minimum 33% in each subject.
Age Limit: Born between 01/10/1996 to 01/04/2002.

 

6. SOLDIER TRADESMAN (ALL ARMS)
Educational Qualification: i) Class 8th Simple Pass (for Syce, House Keeper & Mess Keeper).
ii) No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored min 33% in each subject.
Age Limit: Born between 01/10/1996 to 01/04/2002.

 

Army recruitment rally for the posts will be held from 28th May, 2019 to 6th June, 2019 at Gadag (Karnataka).

Only candidates of districts Bagalkot, Vijayapura, Dharwad, Uttar Kannada, Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Davanagere, Gadag, Haveri, Chikmagalur and Shivamogga are eligible to apply.

 

Physical Standards:
(i) Height — 166 cms (165 cms for Sl. No. 2 & 3 and 162 cms for Sl. No. 4); (ii) Chest (unexpanded) — 77 cms; (iii) Chest (expanded) — 82 cms; (iv) Weight — 50 kg.
Cut-off in Physical Standards: Relaxation in Physical Standards will be as per Govt. norms. Please see officially released advertisement for more details.
Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Physical Fitness Test, Physical Measurement, Medical Test and Written Test.
