1. INDIAN ECONOMIC SERVICE
No. of Vacancies: 32 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Post-Graduate Degree in Economics/ Applied Economics/ Business Economics/ Econometrics from a recognized University or Institute.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and below 30 years as on 01/08/2019.
2. INDIAN STATISTICAL SERVICE
No. of Vacancies: 33 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree with Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Applied Statistics as one of the subject or a Master’s degree in Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Applied Statistics from a recognized University or Institute.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and below 30 years as on 01/08/2019.
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will be conducting Indian Economic Service/ Indian Statistical Service Examination, 2019. On the basis of the result of the examination, candidates will be selected for recruitment in Indian Economic Service and Indian Statistical Service.
Candidates who has appeared at the examination but waiting for the result and candidates who intends to appear at the qualifying examination of the prescribed qualification may also apply.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Examination and Viva Voce. The examination will be commencing from 28th June, 2019. The examination will be held at various centres across India. For more details see the Official Advt.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Rs. 200/- as Examination Fee. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank by means of fee payment Challan. Fee Challan can be downloaded from the official website of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). See released advertisement for more details.
NO EXAMINATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF FEMALE/ SC/ ST / PWD CANDIDATES.

Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO ANYWHERE AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
