2. GENERAL SERVICE (GS)/ HYDROGRAPHY CADRE

Educational Qualification: BE/ B.Tech in any discipline with minimum 60% marks.
Age Limit: Born between 02/01/1995 and 01/07/2000.
II. FOR TECHNICAL BRANCH
3. ENGINEERING BRANCH (GENERAL SERVICE (GS))
No. of Vacancies: 28 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor of Engineering/ Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical/ Marine/ Instrumentation/ Production/ Aeronautical/ Industrial Engineering & Management/ Control Engg./ Aero Space/ Automobiles/ Metallurgy/ Mechatronics/ Instrumentation & Control with minimum 60% marks.
Age Limit: Born between 02/01/1995 and 01/07/2000.
4. ELECTRICAL BRANCH (GENERAL SERVICE (GS))
No. of Vacancies: 32 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor of Engineering/ Bachelor of Technology in Electrical/ Electronics/ Tele Communication/ Electronics & Communication/ Power Engineering/ Power Electronics/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Instrumentation & Control/ Instrumentation with minimum 60% marks.
Age Limit: Born between 02/01/1995 and 01/07/2000.
Only unmarried Male candidates are eligible to apply.
The selected candidates will undergo Training at Indian Naval Academy (INA) Ezhimala, Kerala. The candidates will also be on Probation for a period of three/ two years as applicable after the completion of training.
Candidates who are in the final year of Engineering course with 60% marks till 5th/7th semester are also eligible to apply.
Physical Standards:
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 157 cm with correlated weight.
Cut-off in Physical Standards: For candidates belonging to certain categories/ communities or of certain States/Areas; the cut-off in such candidate’s Height/ Chest’s measurement will be as per Govt. norms. Please see officially released advertisement for more details.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be on the basis of marks obtained in Educational Qualification and Service Selection Board (SSB) Interview. The SSB Interviews will be scheduled at Bangalore/ Bhopal/ Coimbatore/ Visakhapatnam/ Kolkata during April 2019 – July 2019.
