SHORT SERVICE COMMISSION (SSC) IN PILOT/ OBSERVER/ ATC ENTRY OF THE INDIAN NAVY FOR COURSE COMMENCING JAN 2019
No. of Vacancies: 19 Nos.
i) Observer: 04 posts
ii) Pilot (MR): 03 posts
iii) Pilot (Other than MR): 05 posts
iv) Air Traffic Controller: 07 posts
Educational Qualification:
Engineering Degree or are in the final year of Engineering Course in any discipline from a recognised university / educational institute with at least 60% marks till 5th / 7th semester, in regular / integrated course respectively.
For ATC entry, additionally the candidate must have 60% aggregate marks in class X and XII and minimum 60% marks in English in class XII
Age Limit:
(i) Air Traffic Controller:- Born between 02.01.1994 and 01.01.1998.
(ii) Observer, Pilot (MR) and Pilot (Other than MR):- Born between 02.01.1995 and 02.01.2000.
Physical Standards:
(i) For Pilot/ Observer: Male Candidates: Height — 162.5 cms
(ii) For Air Traffic Controller: Male Candidates: Height – 157 cms, Female – 152 cms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Interviews based on their academic performance. SSB interviews for short-listed candidates will be scheduled from May 18 to Jul 18 at Bangalore for pilot & observer. SSB interviews for ATC will be scheduled at Bangalore/ Bhopal/ Coimbatore/ Visakhapatnam
