Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), Satish Dhawan Space Centre SHAR is inviting application for the post “Technician B (Fitter/ Plumber/AC/ Welder/ Mechanic/ Elect./Electronics/Chemical)” and “Draughtsman (Civil/ Mechanical)”. Total vacancies – 63. Advertisement No. SDSC SHA/RMT/07/2013. Number of vacancies and qualification norms are given below —
1. Technician-B (Fitter): 22 Nos.
2. Technician-B (Plumber): 3 Nos
3. Technician-B (Diesel Mechanic): 3 Nos.
4. Technician-B (Refrigeration & Air Conditioning): 5 Nos.
5. Technician-B (Welder): 2 Nos.
6. Technician-B (Pump Operator Cum Mechanic): 4 Nos.
7. Technician-B (Electrical): 12 Nos.
8. Technician-B (Electronic Mechanic): 7 Nos.
9. Technician-B (Chemical): 3 Nos.
10. Draughtsman (Civil): 1 Nos.
11. Draughtsman (Mechanical): 1 Nos.
Essential Qualification: Candidates must be Higher Secondary/ SSC pass and must possess ITI or NTC or NAC Certificate in the respective trade.
For Technician-B (Chemical), ITI/NTC/NAC shall be in any one of the following Trades — Attendant Operator (Chemical), Instrument Mech. (Chemical), Electroplater, Maintenance Mechanic (Chemical Plant) and Laboratory Assistant (Chemical)
For Draughtsman (Civil)/ (Mechanical) – ITI/NAC/NTC shall be in Draughtsman Civil Trade and Draughtsman Mechanical Trade respectively.
Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18yrs to 35yrs as on 10/01/2014. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2000/-
On basis of academic performance and bio-data, candidates will be shortlisted. Such shortlisted candidates will be called for Written Test, Trade Test and Interview.
The date, time and venue of Written Test/Trade test will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course.
The engagements to the posts are temporary but likely to continue. Candidates willing to apply for more than one post shall submit each application separately.
