INSURANCE MEDICAL OFFICER (IMO), ESI SCHEME, ASSAM UNDER LABOUR WELFARE DEPARTMENT
No. of Vacancies: 14 Nos. (Open category-04, OBC/MOBC-05, SC-02, ST-03. Out of the total posts, 01 post is reserved for PWD)
Educational Qualification: Should have MBBS Degree and registered under Assam Medical Council, 1960.
Preference will be given to the candidate having Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma in Medicine/ Surgery/ Paediatrics/ O&G/ Radiology/ Pathology/ Anaesthesiology.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 38 years as on 01/01/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs. 30,000/- to Rs. 1,10,000/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 12,700/-
The vacancies are under ESI Scheme, Assam under Labour Welfare Department.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Screening test / Viva-voce Interview.
