1. DREDGE CADETS
No. of Vacancies: 15 Nos. (UR-07 ,OBC- 02 ,SC-05, ST-01)
Educational Qualification: Should have completed Diploma in Nautical Science (DNS) from recognized Institutes.
2. TRAINEE MARINE ENGINEER
No. of Vacancies: 15 Nos. (UR-07,OBC-05,SC-02,ST-01)
Educational Qualification: Should have completed 04 years Degree in Marine Engineering from recognized colleges/ Institutes.
3. TRAINEE ELECTRICAL OFFICER
No. of Vacancies: 15 Nos. (UR- 06 ,OBC-05 ,SC-03 , ST-01)
Educational Qualification: Should have completed 04 years Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Electronics & Telecommunication/ Communication Engineering or Electronics & Instrumentation recognized by any State or Central Government or AICTE and must have completed 04 months Electro Technical Officer course from recognized Institute.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on 15.08.2018.
4. NEAR COSTAL VESSEL TRAINEES (GP RATING)
No. of Vacancies: 15 Nos. (UR-08 ,OBC-04 , SC-02 , ST-01)
Educational Qualification: Minimum Xth Class pass from recognized Education Board and Pre-Sea G.P Rating Course and passed the Exit Examination with minimum 60% aggregate marks.
Age Limit: Maximum 25 years as on 15.08.2018.
Note: All candidates should possess requisite valid Indian CDC, Passport, INDOS and basic STCW’2010 Certificates.
The selected candidates will be on Training for a period of 18 (eighteen) months for Dredge Cadets & NCVT, 08 (eight) months for Electrical Officers and 06 (six) months for Marine Engineers. During the training period Dredge Cadets will be paid stipend of Rs.15000/- per month, Near Coastal Vessel (Trainees) will be paid stipend of Rs.10000/- per month and Trainee Electrical Officers & Trainee Marine Engineers will be paid stipend of Rs. 25000/-per month respectively.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Test and Interview wherever applicable.
