GOVT. MUSEUM AND ART GALLERY IS INVITING APPLICATION FOR 04 POSTS OF DRIVER, PHOTOGRAPHER, CURATORIAL ASSISTANT AND GUIDE. LAST DATE — 30/11/2018
1. DRIVER
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (Gen)
Educational Qualification: i) Matriculate from a recognized Board/ Institution.
ii) Driving license of Transport vehicles.
Experience: Five years experience of driving a Transport vehicle.
Age Limit: Minimum 25 years and maximum 45 years as on 01/01/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs.5910-20200/- with Grade Pay Rs.2400/-
2. PHOTOGRAPHER
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (Gen)
Educational Qualification: i) Matriculation or equivalent examination from a recognized University/ Board/ Institution.
ii) Certificate or Diploma in Photography with two years experience of photography in a Museum or reputed studio or department of archaeology OR at least five years experience of photography in a Museum or reputed studio or department of archaeology.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 37 years as on 01/01/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs.10300-34800/- with Grade Pay Rs.3600/-
3. CURATORIAL ASSISTANT
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (OBC)
Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree or equivalent from a recognized University with History/ History of Arts/ Ancient Indian History Culture & Archaeology.
Desirable: Diploma or degree in Museology of a recognized University/ Board/ Institute with one year experience in a Museum or Art Gallery of standing/ repute or any comparable Institution.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 37 years as on 01/01/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs.10300-34800/- with Grade Pay Rs.3200/-
4. GUIDE
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (Gen)
Educational Qualification: i) Matriculation in 2nd division or its equivalent with History as one of the subjects from a recognized University/ Board/ Institution.
ii) Working knowledge of Hindi, Punjabi and English.
Desirable: Experience of working in museum and conducting visitors’ rounds of the galleries.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 37 years as on 01/01/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs.5910-20200/- with Grade Pay Rs.1950/-
The posts are Temporary in nature.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 03 years for OBC category.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Interview.
