1. MASTER GRADE-I
No. of Vacancies: 05 Nos. (UR-02, SC-01, OBC-02. Out of which 01 post is reserved for ESM)
Educational Qualification: i) Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board or Institution.
ii) Certificate of Master 1st Class I.S.V.
Experience: At least 02 years’ experience of independently handling of a vessel of not less than 30 nominal horse power.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 42 years.
Pay Scale: Rs.35400-112400/-
2. MASTER GRADE-II
No. of Vacancies: 06 Nos. (UR-05, ST-01. Out of which 01 post is reserved for MSP)
Educational Qualification: i) Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board or Institution.
ii) Certificate of Master 2nd Class I.S.V.
Experience: At least 02 years’ experience of independently handling a craft of 20 horse power.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 42 years.
Pay Scale: Rs.29200-92300/-
3. SYRANG OF LASCAR
No. of Vacancies: 06 Nos. (UR-02, SC-02, OBC-02. Out of which 01 post is reserved for ESM & 01 post for MSP)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board or Institution.
Experience: i) Two years’ service/experience as a Sukhani of a vessel of not less 20 horse power.
ii) Knowledge of Storm and distress signals, charts and compass.
Desirable: Certificate of Syrang I.S.V.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 37 years.
Pay Scale: Rs.25500-81100/-
4. LASCAR-I
No. of Vacancies: 46 Nos. (UR-22, SC-08, ST-05, OBC-11. Out of which 03 posts are reserved for PWD, 05 posts for ESM & 02 posts for MSP)
Educational Qualification: i) Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board or Institution.
ii) Must know swimming.
Desirable: One year’s service on a Ship/ craft.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 37 years.
Pay Scale: Rs.18000-56900/-
5. SENIOR ENGINE DRIVER
No. of Vacancies: 06 Nos. (UR-04, ST-01, OBC-01)
Educational Qualification: i) Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board or Institution.
ii) Certificate of Competency as 1st Class Engine Driver.
Experience: Two years’ service on a vessel of not less than 225 B.H.P. as Incharge.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 37 years.
Pay Scale: Rs.35400-112400/-
6. ENGINE DRIVER II CLASS
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos. (SC-01, ST-01. Out of which 01 post is reserved for ESM)
Educational Qualification: i) Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board or Institution.
ii) Certificate of Competency as Engine Driver 2nd Class.
Experience: Two years’ service as a Syrang/Tindal on a vessel of over 400 B.H.P.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 37 years.
Pay Scale: Rs.29200-92300/-
7. ENGINE DRIVER
No. of Vacancies: 14 Nos. (UR-10, SC-02, OBC-02. Out of which 02 posts are reserved for ESM)
Educational Qualification: i) Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board or Institution.
ii) Must have permit from Mercantile Marine Department for Class III Driver.
Experience: Two years’ experience as Crew Engine Room.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 37 years.
Pay Scale: Rs.25500-81100/-
8. GREASER
No. of Vacancies: 06 Nos. (UR-05, OBC-01)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board or Institution.
Experience: Three years’ service in a Sea going vessel.
Desirable: Certificate of having completed pre-sea training course.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 37 years.
Pay Scale: Rs.18000-56900/-
9. FIREMAN
No. of Vacancies: 09 Nos. (UR-05, SC-01, ST-01, OBC-02. Out of which 01 post is reserved for PWD & 01 post for MSP)
Educational Qualification: i) Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board or Institution.
ii) Must know swimming.
Desirable: Certificate of having completed pre-sea training course/ one years’ service in a workshop/ Engine Room/ Boiler Room.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 37 years.
Pay Scale: Rs.18000-56900/-

and Swimming Test.
