1. CONSTABLE
No. of Vacancies: 100 Nos. (RBA-20, SC-08, ST-10, Social Caste-02, ALC-03)
Educational Qualification: Passed Matriculation examination or equivalent from any Govt. recognized Board.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 28 years as on 01/01/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200/- with Grade Pay Rs.1900/-
2. FOLLOWER
No. of Vacancies: 58 Nos. (RBA-12, SC-06, ST-06, ALC-02)
Educational Qualification: i) Candidate should have passed at least Matric from any recognized Institution.
ii) Candidate should be proficient in Cook, Washer Man and Water Carrier trades.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years as on 01/01/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs.4440-7440/- with Grade Pay Rs.1300/-
NOTE: Candidates who are Migrants/ Kashmiri Pandits of Kashmir are only eligible to apply for the above posts. The vacancies are in Jammu & Kashmir Executive Police (Kashmir Province).
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Physical Standards (For Constable only):
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 5′-6″; Chest (unexpanded) — 32″; Chest (expanded) — 33.5″
(ii) Female Candidates: Height — 5′-2″; Chest – Not applicable.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Physical Endurance Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST) and Written Examination wherever applicable.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.300/- for the post of Constable and Rs.200/- for the post of Follower as Application Fee. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank by means of fee payment Challan. Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO ANYWHERE AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
