1. ASSISTANT ENGINEER (CIVIL)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (UR)
Educational Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/ Institution with minimum 60% marks.
Experience: At least 03 years of experience.
Desirable: i) Master Degree in Civil Engineering.
ii) Knowledge in Computer including Pro-E, Microsoft Project, Auto-Cad Primavera and web based applications.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years as on 01/01/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs.15,600-42,000/- with Grade Pay Rs.5,400/-

 

2. ASSISTANT PLANNER
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (UR)
Educational Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Architecture/ Civil Engineering with Post Graduate Degree in Urban/ Town/ City/ Regional Planning from a recognized University/ Institution with minimum 60% marks.
Experience: At least 01 year of experience.
Desirable: Knowledge of MS Office, Corporate membership of recognized professional institutions (ITPI), published papers/ articles in the relevant fields with good report writing and presentation skills.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years as on 01/01/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs.15,600-42,000/- with Grade Pay Rs.5,400/-

 

3. SUB-ASSISTANT ENGINEER (CIVIL)
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos. (UR-01. SC-01)
Educational Qualification: Diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum 60% marks from recognized Polytechnic Institute.
Experience: At least 03 years of experience.
Candidates having higher qualification in electrical engineering with similar experience may also apply.
Desirable: Computer knowledge (Auto-CAD) and MS Office especially MS Word and Excel.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years as on 01/01/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs.9,000-40,500/- with Grade Pay Rs.4,400/-

 

4. SUB-ASSISTANT ENGINEER (ELECTRICAL)

Educational Qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering with minimum 60% marks from recognized Polytechnic Institute.
Experience: At least 01 year of experience.
Candidates having higher qualification in electrical engineering with similar experience may also apply.
Desirable: Working experience in Power Corporations or state Electricity Boards/ Corporation.
Computer knowledge Auto-CAD and MS Office.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years as on 01/01/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs.9,000-40,500/- with Grade Pay Rs.4,400/-

 

5. SURVEYOR
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (SC)
Educational Qualification: Madhyamik examination or equivalent and Diploma in Survey Engineering from West Bengal Survey Institute.
Desirable: i) Computer knowledge AutoCAD, Arc-GIS, working knowledge of Total-Station and Theodolite.
ii) Knowledge of Records of Right’s, Land Deeds.
iii) Well conversant with mouza maps.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years as on 01/01/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs.7,100-37,600/- with Grade Pay Rs.3,600/-

 

6. LOWER DIVISION ASSISTANT
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (ST)
Educational Qualification: Madhyamik pass or equivalent.
Desirable: i) Computer typing speed of 30 wpm in English.
ii) Ability to write, read and speak Bengali.
iii) Knowledge of MS Office.
iv) Knowledge in shorthand.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years as on 01/01/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs.5,400-25,200/- with Grade Pay Rs.2,600/-

 

The vacancies are under Gangasagar Bakkhali Development Authority.

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST/PH and 03 years for OBC category of West Bengal.

Last date for Registration for online application and generation of challan is 31/10/2018 EXTENDED TO 16/11/2018. The application fee along with processing charges must be deposited to Bank by 01/11/2018 19/11/2018. The final process of submission of application after payment of application fee should be completed by 02/11/2018 20/11/2018.

Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen.
