ACCREDITED SOCIAL HEALTH ACTIVIST (ASHA)
Educational Qualification: i) Should be Madhyamik appeared or equivalent.
ii) Candidate should be a Married/ Divorced/ Widowed woman.
iii) Candidate must be a permanent resident of the same service village for which she will be selected.
Preference will be given to Grade I & Grade II SHG Members/ trained Dais/ Link workers.
Age Limit: Minimum 30 years and maximum 40 years as on 01/01/2018. Lower age limit may be relaxed to 22 years in case of SC/ST candidates.
The vacancies are under various Blocks of Darjeeling Subdivision, Darjeeling District (See PDF link given below for list of blocks and number of vacancies in each block). The posts are Temporary in nature.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be on the basis of marks obtained in educational qualification and Interview.
