South Central Railway is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 4103 posts of Apprentices. The candidates will undergo Apprenticeship Training under the Apprentices Act, 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules, 1962, in various units of South Central Railway. APPRENTICES
No. of Vacancies: 4103 Nos. (UR-2072, SC616, ST-308, OBC-1107)

 

Trade wise vacancies:

i) AC Mechanic: 249 posts
ii) Carpenter: 16 posts
iii) Diesel Mechanic: 640 posts
iv) Electrical/ Electronics: 18 posts
v) Electrician: 871 posts
vi) Electronic Mechanic: 102 posts
vii) Fitter: 1460 posts
viii) Machinist: 74 posts
ix) MMW: 24 posts
x) MMTM: 12 posts
xi) Painter: 40 posts
xii) Welder: 597 posts

 

Educational Qualification:

i) For MMW & MMTM: 10th/ SSC with 50% aggregate marks and ITI in Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance or Millwright Maintenance trade.
ii) For rest of the trades: 10th/ SSC with 50% aggregate marks and ITI in respective trade.

 

Age Limit: Minimum 15 years and maximum 24 years as on 18.06.2018.

 

Engineering Graduates and Diploma holders are not eligible to apply. The candidates will undergo Apprenticeship Training under the Apprentices Act, 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules, 1962, in various units of South Central Railway.

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be on the basis of marks obtained in Academic Qualification.

Exact Date, Time and Venue for examination/interview will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course as well as such information will be also available in the official website of South Central Railway — www.scr.indianrailways.gov.in

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.100/- as Application Fee. Fee can be paid through Crossed Demand Draft drawn in favour of Assistant Personnel Officer (Recruitment), Railway Recruitment Cell, Secunderabad – 500 025, payable at Hyderabad or Secunderabad.

NO APPLICATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF SC/ST/PWD/WOMEN CANDIDATES.
