ASSISTANT CURATOR

No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.

 

Educational Qualification:

i) B.A. or B.Sc. with Museology or Chemistry from a recognised Institute.
OR
M.A. or M.Sc. in Museology from a recognised Institute.
ii) Certificate / Diploma in the French Language.
iii) Elementary knowledge in Computer operation with the ability of typing on computer in both English and Bengali.

Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 36 years as on 01.01.2018.

 

Pay Scale: Rs. 9,000/- – Rs. 40,500/- with Grade Pay Rs. 4,700/-

 

Note: Candidates must have the ability to read, write and speak in Bengali (not required in case of candidates whose Mother Tongue is Nepali).
Reserved Category candidates from the states other than West Bengal shall be treated as General Candidates.

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Screening Test/ Written Test and Interview.
