Educational Qualification:
A) For Grade pay Rs. 2400/2800: i) Minimum Graduate and (ii) Sports Eligibility:- (a) Represented the Country in Olympic Games (Senior Category) OR (b) Obtained at least 3rd position in the World Cup (Junior/Senior Category) / World Championships (Junior/Senior Category)/ Asian Games (Senior Category)/ Commonwealth Games (Senior Category), except Gold Medal in Asian Games.
B) For Grade Pay Rs. 1900/2000: (i) Minimum 12th class pass (+2 stage) and
(ii) Sports Eligibility:-
(a) Represented the country in the World Cup (Junior/Senior Category) / World Championships (Junior/Senior Category)/ Asian Games (Senior Category)/ Commonwealth Games (Senior Category) OR
(b) Represented the country and obtained at least 3rd position in the Commonwealth Championships (Junior/ Senior Category) / Asian Championships (Junior/ Senior Category)/ Asia Cup (Junior/ Senior Category)/ South Asian Federations (SAF) Games (Senior Category) / USIC (World Railways) Championships (Senior Category) OR
(c) Represented a State or equivalent unit and obtained at least 3rd position in Senior/ Youth/ Junior National Championships OR
(d) Represented a state and obtained at least 3rd position in National games organized under aegis of Indian Olympic association OR
(e) Represented a University and obtained at least 3rd position in All India Inter University Championships organized under the aegis of association of Indian universities OR
(f) Represented a State or equivalent Unit and obtained 1st position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior Category).
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 01/01/2019.
The vacancies are against sports quota in West Central Railway for the year 2018-19. Only Sports Persons are eligible to apply. Those sportspersons who have acquired the sports achievement eligibility norms in the championships after 01/04/2016 and are active will only be eligible to apply.
The selected candidates will be on Probation for a period of two years.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be on the basis of Trials, Game skill, Physical Fitness, Sports
Achievements, Educational Qualification, Personality and Medical Examination.
