Zoological Survey of India (ZSI) is recruiting eligible candidates for 02 posts of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Field Assistant (FA). The vacancies are in the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, New Delhi funded Project entitled “Microstructure, individual and sub-species variations of song in Indian Robin Copsychus fulicata (Family: Muscicapidae)”. The candidates will be appointed on Contract basis initially up to One year, which may be extended for further period based on further project extension and satisfactory performance of the candidate. 1. JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (JRF)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: First Class M.Sc. degree in Life Sciences/ Zoology/ Forestry/ Ornithology or equivalent with preferable background of Animal Behavior and/ or Avian Biology with valid GATE/ CSIR/ UGC-NET score.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 31000/- for 1st & 2nd year and Rs. 35000/- for 3rd year per month.
2. FIELD ASSISTANT (FA)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: M.Sc. degree in Life Sciences/ Zoology/ Forestry/ Ornithology or equivalent with preferable background of Animal Behavior and/or Avian Biology.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 20,000/- for 1st & 2nd year and Rs. 22,500/- for 3rd year per month.
