1. JUNIOR ENGINEER (CIVIL)
No. of Vacancies: 20 Nos. (UR-12, OBC-07, ST-01)
Educational Qualification: Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/ Board/ Institution or having passed Part A & B examination of Institution of Engineers (India).
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years (35 years for Female candidates) as on 31/01/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.9300-34000/- with Grade Pay Rs.4200/-
2. JUNIOR ENGINEER (ELECTRICAL & MECHANICAL)
No. of Vacancies: 08 Nos. (UR-05, OBC-03)
Educational Qualification: Degree or Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering or Electrical & Electronics or Air Conditioner/ Refrigerator Engineering from a recognized University/ Board/ Institution or having passed Part A & B examination of Institution of Engineers (India).
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years (35 years for Female candidates) as on 31/01/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.9300-34000/- with Grade Pay Rs.4200/-
The posts are Temporary in nature, but likely to continue. The vacancies are under Andaman Public Works Department (APWD), Andaman & Nicobar Administration.
The candidates will be on Probation for a period of two years.
Reserved Category candidates from the States other than Andaman & Nicobar Islands shall be treated as General Candidates.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable for ST/OBC category as per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Professional Examination/ Test. The Written Professional Examination/ Test will be held at Port Blair.

Upon successful submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it in two copies on plain A4 size paper. One copy of the print-out must be retained by the candidate for future references and the other copy is to be send along with attested copies of testimonials (qualification certificate/mark sheet, age proof, caste certificate, experience certificate if applicable and etc), at the below given address so as to reach on or before 15.02.2019 upto 05.00 PM.
