Kalpana Chawla Govt. Medical College – Applications are invited for the post of Senior Residents/Tutors in Kalpana Chawla Govt. Medical College, Karnal on yearly basis extendable .upto a maximum of 03 tenures, subject to satisfactory work and conduct report. Kalpana Chawla Govt. Medical College, Karnal is a permitted Medical college by NMC. Senior Residents/Tutors

Educational Qualification & Experience of Senior Residents/Tutors:-

1. MBBS from Institution/University recognized by the NMC.
2. MD/MS/DNB in the subject concerned. In case the candidates have MD/MS qualifications a nut available, the candidates having diplomas in the specialty concerned or training experience of 03 years^, PG students in the subject will be considered for appointment.
3. Must be having a valid registration certificate either issued by NMC (erstwhile MCl/Haryana State Medical Council).

Note:-

• For the specialties of Anatomy, Physiology, and Biochemistry, in case of non-availability of the candidates possessing MD/MS/DNB qualification, candidates possessing M.Sc. (Medical) will be considered as per NMC norms and will be called Tutor in whichever Department, they are working.
• A score of the exit examination conducted by MCl/National Board of Examination, New Delhi for FMGE candidates will be considered equivalent to the MBBS score for the purpose of calculating the pre-merit of all the Foreign Medical graduates (GMGs).
• For other candidates possessing only a pass/fail certificate & no score card for the FMGE, the score will be considered as 50% only and pre-merit will be calculated accordingly.

Application Fees (Non-Refundable).

• A crossed Demand Draft worth 1s 1000^,– for General Category v ti,d Rs. 250/- for Reserved Categories (for Haryana Domicile only) in favor of Director, KCGMC(Kalpana Chawla Govt. Medical College), Karnal. 50% concession in the above fees is granted to the women candidates (both general and reserved category) as per Govt. Instructions. PH &TSM candidates are exempted from the application fee.

Note:-

1. Age should not be more than 45 years at the time of the initial appointment. The benefit of relaxation of in upper age limit in respect of candidates belonging to SC/ST, BC, ESM, etc. will be as per Haryana instructions issued from time to time and are restricted to Haryana domiciles only.
2. The Senior Resident will be the governed by rules of Kalpana Chawla Govt. Medical College, Karnal which is at par with the rules currently applicable to the Senior Residents at Pt. D Sharma PGIMS, Rohtak.
3. The appointment is purely on a yearly tenure basis extendable up to a maximum of 03 tenures, subject to satisfactory work and conduct report. However, the services can be terminated immediately without prior notice, if the work and conduct are not found satisfactory.
4. The interview will be held in the office of the Director, Kalpana Chawla Govt. Medical College, [he candidates must bring all the essential certificates/documents i.e. (Matriculation Certificate, MBBS, MD Mark sheets, Degrees, Experience Certificate, Registration attempt certificate of MBBS as well as MD/MS, Caste Certificate, etc.) in original for verification at the time of interview.
5. Experience will be considered only if it is obtained from MCl/NMC recognized/permitted Medical
6. Incomplete application in any form & without self attested copies of educational certificates and other relevant documents will be rejected.
7. A number of posts can be increased or decreased on the basis of actual requirements against sanctioned posts without any prior information/notice.
8. In the interest of patient care and public interest if the exigency of the situation so demands, then Hospital administration reserves the right to change the posting of Senior Resident/Tutor to any department
9. No Separate Interview letter will be sent to the applicants and the information pertaining to the

10. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
11. The cutoff date for qualification shall be the date of publication of Advt. in the newspaper/website.
12. The applicants who are already in Govt./Semi Govt./Corporation or Autonomous Body, should bring a fresh, ‘No Objection Certificate’ at the time of the interview, failing which the applicant will not be considered for an interview, NOC may not be older than 06 months counted from advertisement date of inviting of applications. •
13. The posts of Senior Residents/Tutors are not faculty positions.
14. Nonmedical postgraduates with M.Sc. (Medical) degrees shall be called Tutors in whichever departments they are working.
