JUNIOR ENGINEER (SIGNAL & TELECOM)
No. of Vacancies: 07 Nos. (UR-02, OBC-02, ST-03)
Educational Qualification: Full time regular three years Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/ Information Technology/ communication Engineering/ Computer Science & Engineering /Computer Science/Computer Engineering OR a combination of any sub stream of basic streams of Electrical/Electronics/ Information Technology/ Communication Engineering with 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent.
Note: Candidates appearing at and/or awaiting result are not eligible to apply.
Eligibility Criteria
i) Land losers whose land has been acquired for Konkan Railway line Project (Self / Sons / Spouse / Unmarried daughters / Grand sons/ Unmarried Grand daughters only) are eligible.
ii)Other than Konkan Railway land losers candidates belonging to all categories (UR/OBC/SC/ST) from the states of Maharashtra, Goa and Karnataka only.
Age Limit: Maximum-32 years as on 01/07/2017.
Pay Scale: Rs.9300 – Rs.34,800 with Grade Pay Rs.4200/-
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination and Medical Examination.
Written Examination shall be held at Navi Mumbai and /or at Regional Centres of KRCL i.e, Ratnagiri, Madgaon , Karwar and Udupi.
Selected candidates will be on training for a prescribed period. On successful completion of training and passing the examination, the candidates will be appointed as Junior Engineer/ S&T and will be on probation for a period of two years.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.200/- as Examination Fee. Fee can be paid through Demand draft drawn in favour of FA&CAO/KRCL , payable at Navi Mumbai.
