No. of Vacancies: 26 Nos. (UR-03, SC-12, ST-04, OBC-06, PWD-01)
Name of the subjects: Swastha Vritta, Agad Tantra, Padarth Vigyan/ Samhita/ Itihas, Rog Vigyan, Rachna Sharir/ Kriya Sharir, Shalakya, Nischetana Avam Ksha-Kiran and Panchakarma.
Educational Qualification: i) A degree in Ayurveda from a recognized University or a Statutory Board or Faculty of Examining Body of Indian Medicine or its equivalent.
ii) A Post-graduate qualification in the subject or speciality concerned from a recognized University or Institution.
iii) Knowledge of Sanskrit.
iv) If the post graduate qualification holders for the above subjects are not available, the post graduate obtained in the subjects- Kaya Chikitsa, Basic Principle, Dravya Gun, Sharir, Shalakya and Shalya will be admissible. For more details please see the Official Advt.
Note:- The candidates must be registered with the Paschim Banga Ayurvedic Parishad. Candidates must be enrolled in the Central Register maintained by the Central Council of Indian Medicine.
Desirable: Original published papers (Index Journal) or books on the subject.
Age Limit: Maximum 40 years as on 01/01/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.15600 — Rs.42000
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable as per Govt. norms.
