LIVESTOCK DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANT IN THE DIRECTORATE OF ANIMAL RESOURCES AND ANIMAL HEALTH UNDER THE ANIMAL RESOURCES DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT, GOVT. OF WEST BENGAL.
No. of Vacancies: 200 Nos. (UR-94, OBC-36, SC-41, ST-13, Meritorious Sportspersons-06, PWD-10)
Educational Qualification:
i) Must have passed Madhyamik Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent.
ii) Must have passed 01 year’s certificate course on Prani Sampad Bikash Prashikhan conducted by the Board of Veterinary Education, West Bengal or its equivalent recognized by the Board of Veterinary Education, West Bengal.
iii) Must be physically fit and capable of hard work and cycling.
iv) Ability to read, write and speak in Bengali (not required for those whose mother tongue is Nepali).
Age Limit: Maximum 40 years as on 01/01/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5,400/- – Rs. 25,200/- with Grade Pay Rs. 2,600/-
The vacancies are in the Directorate of Animal Resources and Animal Health under the Animal Resources Development Department, Govt. of West Bengal. The posts are Permanent in nature.
Reserved Category candidates from the states other than West Bengal shall be treated as General Category candidates.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC. Age relaxation up to 45 years of age for PWD candidates. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Screening Test/ Written Test and Interview.
