Eligibility Criteria for MUHS Recruitment 2024
Education Qualification: The following are the eligibility criteria for the posts available in Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS):
1. Associate Professor (Ophthalmic Science)
- Qualification: MS Ophthalmology from an MCI-recognized medical college.
- Experience:
- 4 years as Assistant Professor with 2 research publications OR
- 10 years as an ophthalmic consultant with 2 research publications.
2. Professor (Infectious Diseases)
- Qualification:
- M.D. in Infectious Diseases / Medicine / D.N.B (Medicine) / D.M. in Infectious Diseases, or equivalent.
- Experience:
- 3 years as Associate Professor with 4 research publications OR
- 7 years in a recognized organization with 4 research publications.
3. Associate Professor (Infectious Diseases)
- Qualification: Similar qualifications as above.
- Experience:
- 4 years as Assistant Professor with 2 publications OR
- 5 years in a recognized organization with 2 publications OR
- Deputation from relevant departments.
4. Professor (Public Health & Nutrition)
- Qualification:
- MD in Community Medicine, Swasthvritta, or PG in MPH from a recognized university.
- Experience:
- 3 years as Associate Professor with 3 publications OR
- 15 years in Public Health with 4 publications.

Pay Scale: ₹1,31,400 – ₹2,17,100
Professor (Infectious Diseases)
Pay Scale: ₹1,44,200 – ₹2,18,200

Selection Process for MUHS Recruitment 2024
The selection process for academic posts at Maharashtra University of Health Sciences will include a thorough review of applications based on eligibility criteria. Eligible candidates may be invited for a written test or screening test. After that successful candidates will be called for an interview. The final selection will be based on performance in both the Screening Test and the Interview.

Eligible and interested candidates to apply for the posts, candidates have to submit their applications in the prescribed format along with a non-refundable processing fee of ₹500 for open-category candidates and ₹300 for reserved-category candidates.
