The vacancy are under the various department namely Personnel & Administrative Reforms Department, Home Department, Police Establishment Branch, Rural Development Department, Personnel & Administrative Reforms Department, Prison Department, Labour & Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Department, Employment & Craftsmen Training Department, Administrative Training Institute, Art & Culture Department and Taxation Department.
i) Extra Assistant Commissioner: 12 posts

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline, including Divinity, from a Recognized University.
Candidates who possess degree qualification in any discipline (including Divinity) or awaiting Bachelor’s degree final result shall be eligible to apply for the post.
Age Limit: Minimum -21 years and maximum-30 years as on 01/01/2017.
Pay Scale:
i) For Post in Sl. no. i, ii & iii: Rs.15,600 – Rs.39,100 and Grade Pay Rs.5,400/-
ii) For Post iv: Rs.9300 – Rs.34,800 and Grade Rs.4,200/-
iii) For Post v – 11: Rs.5,200 – Rs.20,200 and Grade Pay Rs.2,800/-
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST category.
Physical Standard:
1. Deputy Superintendent of Police Posts: i) Height: 5.4 inches (5.2 inches for SC/ST), Chest: Unexpansion- 33 inches (32 inches for SC/ST); Expansion-35 inches (33.5 inches for SC/ST).
2. For Assistant Jailor (Male): i) Height: 5.3 ft
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Preliminary Examination and Interview.
