GRADUATE ENGINEER TRAINEE
No. of Vacancies: 115 Nos. (UR-60, OBC-30, SC-17, ST-08. Out of the total posts, 15 posts are reserved for PWD)
Discipline wise vacancies:
i) Mechanical: 54 posts
ii) Electrical: 32 posts
iii) Electronics: 05 posts
iv) Instrumentation: 06 posts
v) Metallurgy: 18 posts
Educational Qualification:
i) For Mechanical: Full time regular B.E/ B.Tech in Mechanical/ Production Engineering with not less than 65% marks in aggregate (55% marks for SC/ST/PWD) from recognized University/ Institution.
ii) For Electrical: Full time regular B.E/ B.Tech in Electrical/ Power Engineering with not less than 65% marks in aggregate (55% marks for SC/ST/PWD) from recognized University/ Institution.
iii) For Electronics: Full time regular B.E/ B.Tech in Electronics/ Instrumentation/ Telecom/ Electrical Engineering with not less than 65% marks in aggregate (55% marks for SC/ST/PWD) from recognized University/ Institution.
iv) For Instrumentation: Full time regular B.E/ B.Tech in Electronics/ Instrumentation/ Telecom/ Electrical Engineering with not less than 65% marks in aggregate (55% marks for SC/ST/PWD) from recognized University/ Institution.
v) For Metallurgy: Full time regular B.E/ B.Tech in Metallurgy Engineering with not less than 65% marks in aggregate (55% marks for SC/ST/PWD) from recognized University/ Institution.
Essential: Candidates must have appeared and possess valid GATE-2018 scores in the relevant paper.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on 22/05/2018
Pay Scale: Rs.60,000-1,80,000/-
Candidates in the final year of their Engineering may also apply. Candidates having valid GATE-2018 are only eligible to apply. The selected candidates will be on training for a period of One year. The candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Rs.40,000-1,40,000/- during the training period.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be on the basis of GATE-2018 score and Personal Interview.
