NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY & NAVAL ACADEMY EXAMINATION (II), 2018
No. of Vacancies: 383 Nos.
i) National Defence Academy: 339 posts (208 posts for Army, 39 posts for Navy and 92 posts for Air Force)
ii) Naval Academy (10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme): 44 posts
Educational Qualification:
i) For Army Wing of National Defence Academy:- 12th Class pass (10+2) or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy:- 12th Class pass (10+2) or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics from recognized Board or a University.
Note: Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 system or equivalent examination can also apply.
Age Limit: born not earlier than 02/01/2000 and not later than 01/01/2003.
Physical Standard: The candidates must be physically fit and should meet the Physical Standards as per norms (See official advt. link given below.
Only unmarried male candidates are eligiblt to apply. Candidates who have failed CPSS/PABT earlier are not eligible for Air Force.
On the basis of the National Defence Academy & Naval Academy Examination (II), 2018 the vacancies for 383 posts will filled for National Defence Academy and Naval Academy.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Examination and Interview/Personality Test. The Examination will be held at various centres across India.

Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank by means of fee payment Challan. NO APPLICATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF SC/ST CANDIDATES/ SONS OF SERVING/ EX-JUNIOR COMMISSIONED OFFICERS/ NONCOMMISSIONED OFFICERS/ OTHER RANKS OF ARMY AND EQUIVALENT RANKS IN THE INDIAN NAVY/ INDIAN AIR FORCE IF THEY ARE STUDYING IN MILITARY SCHOOL (FORMERLY KNOWN AS KING GEORGE’S SCHOOL)/SAINIK SCHOOL RUN BY SAINIK SCHOOLS SOCIETY.

Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO ANYWHERE AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
