National Museum Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria
The educational qualifications, and age limit required for National Museum recruitment are detailed below.
Eligibility:
- Officers under Central Government/State Government/Union Territories/Universities/Recognized Research Institutions/Public Sector Undertakings/Semi-Government/Statutory or Autonomous Organizations.
- Candidates should either hold analogous posts or have five years of service in a grade with a pay scale of ₹8,000 – ₹13,500 or equivalent.
Educational Qualification:
- Master’s degree in Museology/History of Arts or equivalent.
- Master’s degree in Indian History/Sanskrit/Pali/Prakrit/Persian/Arabic/Archaeology/Anthropology/Fine Arts with a diploma in Museology.
- Five years of experience in a Museum of National/Regional importance.
- One year of research experience with published work in Numismatics and Epigraphy.
- One year of field experience and practical training in Numismatics and Epigraphy.
Age Limit:
- Candidates must not exceed 56 years of age as of the application closing date.
