Netaji Subhas Open University, West Bengal, is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 22 posts of Technical Assistant (Grade II), Junior Library Assistant, Cashier, Junior Assistant, Junior Store Keeper, Junior Peon and Junior Attendant. 1. TECHNICAL ASSISTANT (GRADE II)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (SC-01)
Educational Qualification: Science Graduate. Diploma/ Certificate in Computer of at least 6-month duration.
Experience: At least Three year relevant experience on substantive/regular basis in any Central/State Govt./ University/ Public Sector undertakings and other Central/State Autonomous Bodies OR Five year in Govt. undertakings/Govt. Projects/State Autonomous Bodies/University on Temporary / Contractual basis.
Desirable: Experience in Open and Distance Learning (ODL) system of education.
Age Limit: Maximum- 40 years as on 21.08.2017.
Pay Scale: Rs.9,000 – 28,300 with Grade pay of Rs.4,400/-

 

2. JUNIOR LIBRARY ASSISTANT
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (SC-01)
Educational Qualification: A Graduate in any discipline with degree in Library Science.
Diploma/ Certificate in Computer of at least 6-month duration.
Desirable: Post Graduate degree in Library and Information Sciences.
Experience in handling Library Software.
Experience in Open and Distance Learning (ODL) system of education.
Age Limit: Maximum- 40 years as on 21.08.2017.
Pay Scale: Rs.9,000 – 28,300 with Grade pay of Rs.4,400/-

 

3. CASHIER
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos. (UR-01 SC-01)
Educational Qualification: Graduate with Honours in Commerce from a reputed University.
Candidates should be conversant with common Accounting software tools e.g. Tally.
Desirable: M.Com. from a recognized University.
Two year post qualification experience including cash handling.
Adequate knowledge in handling office software.
Age Limit: Maximum- 40 years as on 21.08.2017.
Pay Scale: Rs.9,000 – 28,300 with Grade pay of Rs.4,400/-

 

4. JUNIOR ASSISTANT
No. of Vacancies: 04 Nos. (SC-02 ST-01 UR(EC)-01)
Educational Qualification: H.S. (10+2).
Diploma/ Certificate in Computer of at least 6-month duration.
Desirable: Graduate from a recognised University.
Experience in Open and Distance Learning (ODL) system of education
Age Limit: Maximum- 40 years as on 21.08.2017.
Pay Scale: Rs.7,200 – 25,400 with Grade pay of Rs.3,300/-

 

5. JUNIOR STORE KEEPER
No. of Vacancies: 03 Nos. (UR-02, SC-01)
Educational Qualification: H.S. (10+2).
Diploma/ Certificate in Computer of at least 6-month duration.
Experience in handling stock register and checking bills and vouchers.
Desirable: Graduate from a recognised University.
Experience in Open Distance Learning (ODL) system of Education.
Age Limit: Maximum- 40 years as on 21.08.2017.
Pay Scale: Rs.7,200 – 25,400 with Grade pay of Rs.3,300/-

 

6. JUNIOR PEON
No. of Vacancies: 09 Nos. (UR-04, SC-02, OBC-02, ST-01)
Educational Qualification: Passed Class VIII.
Desirable: Madhyamik or equivalent
Age Limit: Maximum- 40 years as on 21.08.2017.
Pay Scale: Rs.5,400 – 18,600 with Grade pay of Rs.1,800/-

 

7. JUNIOR ATTENDANT
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos. (UR-01, SC-01)
Educational Qualification: Passed Class VIII
Desirable: Madhyamik or equivalent.
Age Limit: Maximum- 40 years as on 21.08.2017.
Pay Scale: Rs.5,400 – 18,600 with Grade pay of Rs.1,800/-
