The vacancies are against SCOUTS & GUIDES QUOTA (Open Advertisement) on North Western Railway for the year 2022-23. SPORTS PERSONS(SCOUTS & GUIDES QUOTA) :
- No. of Vacancies: 10 Nos. (Level-2 & Level-1)
LEVEL-2 : 02 Posts
Educational Qualification :
- 10th or equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate
- 50% marks in the aggregate will be required for NTPC categories. 50% marks is not required Tor SCST Ex-servicemen candidates and candidates those who possess higher qualification like Graduation/ Post Graduation.
LEVEL-1 : 08 Posts
Educational Qualification :
- 10 pass from a recognized Board with National Apprenticeship Certificate granted by NCVT or 10 pass from a recognized Board with ITI for appointment Civil Engineering Mechanical Electrical, S&T and Catering departments.
- 10 pass or ITI or equivalent from a recognized Board for appointment in other departments
Scouts and Guides Qualifications: (For level 2 and level 1 both)
- A President Scout/Guide/Rover/Ranger OR Himalayan Wood Badge CHWB) holder in any Section.
- Should have bee an active member of a Scouts Organization for the last 05 years ( 2017-18 owards). The Certificate of Activeness Should be as per thnnexu8 enclosed.
- Should attend two events at National Level OR All Indian Railways level ND Two events at State level as per Annexure-9
Age Limit:
- Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years for Level 2.
- Minimum 18 years and maximum 33 years for Level 1.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200 — Rs.20200
The vacancies are against Sports Quota (Open Advertisement) on North Western Railway for the year 2022-23.
Note: Only those Sportspersons who have acquired the sports achievements- eligibility norms in the championship are active will be eligible to apply.
Only candidates having the required Sports Qualification are eligible to apply.
The selected candidates will have to undergo Training.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of Sports Trials, Interview, Assessment of Sports Achievements and Educational Qualification etc.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Examination Fee of Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- for SC/ ST/ Women/ Minorities and EBC). Fee can be paid through Demand Draft/ Indian Postal Order (IPO) drawn in favour of North Western Railway Sports Association, payable at Jaipur/ G.P.O Jaipur.
