1. STIPENDIARY TRAINEE/ TECHNICIAN “B” – PLANT OPERATOR DISCIPLINE
No. of Vacancies: 42 Nos.
Educational Qualification: HSC (10+2) or ISC (with Science subjects) with not less than 50% marks in Science and Mathematics individually. Shall have English as one of the Subjects at least at SSC level Examination.
For Project Affected Persons:- Pass in HSC (12th Std.) with not less than 40% marks in Science and Mathematics individually with English as one of the subjects at least at SSC level examination.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 21.05.2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.21,700/- per month.
2. STIPENDIARY TRAINEE/ TECHNICIAN “B”
No. of Vacancies: 75 Nos.
Discipline wise vacancies:
i) Electrician: 20 posts
ii) Electronic Mechanic: 03 posts

Educational Qualification: i) SSC (10 years) with minimum 50% marks in Science subjects and Mathematics individually and 2 years ITI Certificate Course in Electrician/ Electronic Mechanic/ Instrument Mechanic/ Fitter/ Turner/ Machinist/ Welder/ Draughtsman (Mechanical) / Plumber Trade.
ii) For trades for which the duration of the ITI course is less than 02 years, the candidates shall have at least one year relevant working experience after completion of the course.
iii) Shall have English as one of the subjects at least at SSC level Examination.
For Project Affected Persons:-
i) Pass in SSC with Science and Mathematics and 2 years ITI Certificate Course in Electrician/ Electronic Mechanic/ Instrument Mechanic/ Fitter/ Turner/ Machinist/ Welder/ Draughtsman (Mechanical)/ Plumber Trade.
ii) For trades for which the ITI Course is less than two years, 01 year experience in the relevant area after completion of the course.
iii) Shall have English as one of the subjects at least at SSC level Examination.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 21.05.2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.21,700/- per month.
3. STIPENDIARY TRAINEE / SCIENTIFIC ASSISTANT “B”
No. of Vacancies: 62 Nos. (ST-5, SC-9, OBC-17, UR-31. Out of the total posts, 02 posts are reserved for PWD)

Educational Qualification:
i) For Mechanical Engineering:- Diploma with not less than 60% marks in Mechanical Engineering.
ii) For Electrical Engineering:- Diploma with not less than 60% marks in Electrical, Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
iii) For Chemical Engineering:- Diploma with not less than 60% marks in Chemical Engineering.
iv) For Electronics Engineering:- Diploma with not less than 60% marks in Electronics, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation.
v) For Instrumentation Engineering:- Diploma with not less than 60% marks in Instrumentation, Electronics & Instrumentation and Instrumentation & Control Engineering.
vi) For Computer Science:- Diploma with not less than 60% marks Computer Science, Computer Engineering and IT.
vii) For Civil Engineering:- Diploma with not less than 60% marks in Civil Engineering.
viii) For B.Sc. Physics:- B.Sc. with a minimum of 60% marks with Physics as Principal and chemistry/ mathematics/ Statistics/ Electronics & Computer Science as subsidiary OR with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects with equal weightage.
ix) For B.Sc. Chemistry:- B.Sc. with a minimum of 60% marks with Chemistry as Principal and Physics/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Electronics & Computer Science as subsidiary OR with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects with equal weightage.
Note For Engineering Diploma:
a) The Diploma in Engineering should be of three years duration after SSC/ HSC.
b) Should have had English as one of the subjects either at SSC or at HSC level examination.
c) Diploma through Lateral Entry to 2nd year Diploma after X (SSLC) + ITI will not be considered.
ii) For B.Sc. Physics/ Chemistry: Mathematics at H.Sc. (10+2) level is essential. Candidate having Mathematics as the principal subject at B.Sc. are not eligible. Shall have English as one of the subjects either at SSC or HSC level examination.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 21.05.2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.35,400/- per month.
The selected candidates will initially be on Training for a period of 02 years for the post of Stipendiary Trainee /Technician “B” and for 18 months for the post of Stipendiary Trainee/ Scientific Assistant “B”. During the training candidates will be paid monthly Stipend of Rs.10500/- for 1st year & Rs.12500/- for 2nd year for Stipendiary Trainee /Technician “B” and Rs.16000/- for 1st year & Rs.18000/- for 2nd year for Stipendiary Trainee / Scientific Assistant “B”. The candidates will be posted at Kudankulam Nuclear Power Project, Kudankulam.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Physical Standards (For all above posts):
(i) Height — 160 cms; (ii) Weight — 45.5 kgs
