Odisha Police is inviting application from the Gurkha male candidates residing in India or Nepal for 92 posts of Gurkha Sepoys in Odisha Special Armed Police, 2nd Battalion. ODISHA POLICE IS INVITING APPLICATION FOR 92 POSTS OF GURKHA SEPOYS. LAST DATE — 31.07.2017

 

GURKHA SEPOYS
No. of Vacancies: 92 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Class-VII or equivalent examination.
Candidates who have passed H.S.C. or equivalent examination will be given preference.

 

NOTE: Only Gurkha male candidates residing permanently in India or Nepal are eligible to apply. Gurkha Candidate residing in India must have registered his name in any of the Employment Exchanges of the concerned State before the date of advertisement for recruitment.

 

Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-25 years as on 01.01.2017.

 

Pay Scale: Rs.5,200 – Rs.20,200 and Grade Pay Rs.2,000/-

 

Physical Standards (For all above posts):
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 158 cm; Chest (unexpanded) — 79 cm; Chest (expanded) — 84 cm; Weight — 50 kgs

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Physical Test and Viva-Voce.
The recruitment test will be held on 29.08.2017 at OSAP 2nd Battalion, Jharsuguda, Odisha.
