1. BLOCK SOCIAL SECURITY OFFICER
No. of Vacancies: 151 Nos. (UR-85, SEBC-05, SC-28, ST-33)
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline or equivalent from a recognised University and proficiency in use of computer, internet, email, word processing, data analysis and presentation.
Candidate should be able to read, write and speak in Odia language.
Age Limit: 21 years to 32 years as on 01.01.2017.
Pay Scale: Rs.9300- Rs.34800 with Grade pay Rs.4200/-
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: The selection of the candidates will be through Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Computer Skill Test.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.100/- as Examination Fee. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank by means of fee payment Challan. Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO ANYWHERE AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
Only the candidates claiming reservation under special category such as PWD, Ex-Servicemen, Sports Persons as well as in Service contractual employees will have to submit Detailed Application Form (DAF) to the Secretary Odisha Staff Selection Commission, Barrack No-1, Unit-V, Bhubaneswar through Speed Post by 15.12.2017.
