No. of Vacancies: 06 Nos. (UR-03, SC-01, ST-01, SEBC-01)
Educational Qualification:
i) Candidate must have passed Bachelor in Veterinary Science from a recognized University.
ii) Candidates having Bachelor of Science with Zoology Honours shall be eligible to apply, in case candidates with required qualification is not available of the post.
iii) Knowledge in Odia- Candidate must be able to speak, read and write Odia and must have passed:-
a) Middle School Examination with Odia as a language subject OR b) Matriculation or equivalent examination with Odia as medium of examination in non-language subject OR c) Passed in Odia as language subject in the final examination of class VII or above
OR d) Passed a test in Odia in Middle English School Standard conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 25 years as on 01.01.2017.
Pay Scale: Rs.9300- Rs.34,800/- and Grade Pay Rs.4200/-
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Physical Standards:
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 168 cm (163 cm for ST/SC candidates); Chest (unexpanded) — 79 cm (76 cm for ST/SC); Chest (expanded) — 84 cm (81 cm for ST/SC); Weight — 55 kg
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Preliminary Examination, Physical Measurement, Physical Efficiency & Practical Test, Main Written Examination and Viva-voce cum Psychological Test.
