Ordnance Factory Chanda requires 219 Semi-Skilled in trades of Electrician, Fitter, Machinist, Etc. Last Dt. 20/07/12 (28/07/12)

Under Ministry of Defence, Ordnance Factory Chanda, Maharashtra, requires 219 persons on trades of – Electrician, Fitter (Auto/ Boiler), Machinist, Painter, Turner, Examiner, D.B. Worker and etc. Interested candidates may apply by preparing the application form on plain paper as per format. Qualification, Age and Other criteria of eligibility is given below—

Required Qualifications: —
For the posts in Sl.No.-1 to 7: Candidates should be Madhyamik pass or equivalent and must possess NCTVT Certificate in the respective trades, failing which candidates with ITI pass or equivalent Diploma/Certificate in respective trades will be applicable.


For the posts in Sl.No.-8: Candidates should be Madhyamik pass or equivalent and Must possess NCVT Certificate in Trade “Attendant Operator in Chemical Plant (AOCP)”, failing which ITI pass in following trades -Fitter, Machinist, Electrician, Welder, Turner, Fitter Auto, Electroplater, Boiler Attendant, Millwright, Painter, Carpenter, Grinder, Sheet Metal Worker, Fitter Boiler, Fitter Instrument, Miller, Compositor, Fitter Auto Ele., Fitter Electric, Welder, Fitter Pipe or equivalent Diploma/Certificate holder.
Desirable: Two years working experience in Amm/Xplo sive Factory.

For the posts in Sl.No.09: Madhyamik pass or equivalent and must possess NCVT Certificate in Trade “Attendant Operator in Chemical Plant (AOCP)”, failing which ITI pass or equivalent Diploma/Certificate holder.
Desirable:  Two years working experience in Amm/Xplo sive Factory.

Age limit: between 18yrs to 32yrs as on last date of Application. Age relaxation for SC/ST—5yrs; OBC—3yrs; PH—10yrs and Ex-Serviceman and others—as per govt. norms.

Pay Scale: Rs.5200 – Rs.20200 with Grade pay of Rs.1800 + allowances.

Selection Steps: Selection of candidates will be through Written examination and Trade test (Practical). Written examination (Objective Type) will be of 100 marks and Trade test will be of 100 marks. Syllabus will be as per NCTVT examination level in respective trades.
Eligible candidates will be intimated for Written Test through Call letter/ Admit Card.

Application Fee: Candidates should prepare a Crossed Indian Postal Order (IPO) or Crossed Bank Demand Draft (DD) of Rs.50/- which should be in favour of — “General Manger ,Ordnance Factory Chanda(MS)-442501, payable at O.F.Chanda branch Bhadrawati”.
No Application fee required for SC/ST/PH/Ex-Serviceman.

How to Apply: Candidates should neatly type the application on plain paper exactly as per prescribed format.
Along with application form, candidates should properly enclosed all the attested copies of documents of their qualification, caste, age proof and any other testimonials in support of eligibility. All the documents should be attested by Gazetted Officer.
Candidates should enclose 3 Nos. passport size photographs (duly Self-Attested) along with application form (one copy pasted on application form and 2 copies as an enclosures with the form).
General and OBC candidates should enclose the Application fee of prescribed amount in form of D.D. or IPO.

On the top of the application containing envelope, superscribe in capital letters — “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF SEMI-SKILLED IN _______ TRADE”. 
N.B: Candidates applying from far flung areas should superscribe the name of their ‘Area’ in capital letter on the top the application containing envelope.
Do not apply more than one post or may lead to cancellation.

Last date: Application form along with required documents should reach by post on or within 20th July 2012 (28th July 2012 for candidates of far flung areas)
