Ordnance Factory Kanpur, under the Ministry of Defence, is recruiting 531 Semi-Skilled workers (Group-C) in Industrial Establishment/ Non Industrial Establishment employee’s posts, in the trade of — Fitter, Machinist, Welder, Electroplater, Electrician, Painter, Examiner, Millwright, Turner, Blacksmith, Tool Maker, Mason, Carpenter, C.P. Worker, Lower Division Clerk and Etc. Interested candidates may submit their Application form only through Online system. Qualification norms and details are as follows —

SEMI-SKILLED (GROUP-C) POSTS: 531 Nos.

4. Machinist: 160 Nos.

9. Examiner: 40 Nos.
10. Millwright: 26 Nos.
11. Turner: 62 Nos.
12. Tool Maker: 4 Nos.
13. Black-Smith: 15 Nos.
14. Fitter Auto Electric:  1 Nos.
15. Fitter Auto: 2 Nos.
16. Fitter Boiler: 6 Nos.
17. Mason: 4 Nos.
18. Carpenter: 4 Nos.
19. C.P. Worker: 7 Nos.
20. Lower Division Clerk (LDC): 59 Nos.

Educational Qualification —
For all Industrial Establishment posts (except LDC): Candidates must have passed Matriculation or equivalent and must hold NCTVT Certificate in the relevant trade failing which ITI or equivalent Diploma / Certificate holder (On unavailability of NCTVT certificate holders, ITI or equivalent Diploma/ Certificate holders will be considered). Candidates with Engineering Degree or Engineering Diploma are not eligible to apply.

For Lower Division Clerk (LDC): Class 12 pass or equivalent and must have Typing speed of 35 words per minute in English OR 30 words per minute in Hindi on computer.

Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18yrs to 32 yrs (18yrs to 27yrs in case of LDC post only) as on last date of the online application. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.

Pay scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade pay of Rs.1800/- for all Industrial posts and Rs.1900/- for Lower Division Clerk.

Application Fee: An Application Fee of Rs.50/- is to be paid through Demand Draft/Indian Postal Orders only in favour of Sr. General Manager, Ordnance Factory, Kalpi Road, Kanpur-208009.
NO APPLICATION FEE FOR SC/ST/ PH/ EX-SERVICEMAN AND WOMAN CANDIDATES.

The selection of the candidates will be through Written Test/ Trade Test. The medium of examination will be either in English or Hindi. For syllabus and other details, see the below given URL.
