Ordnance Factory, Raipur, under Ministry of Defence, is recruiting 90 Workman (Semi-Skilled) (IEs Group C) in the trade of – Fitter, Optical Worker, Machinist, Turner, Examiner, Miller, Electrician and Carpenter. Interested and eligible candidates may apply on prescribed application format within below scheduled date. Qualification norms and eligibility norms are given below in brief —
1. Workman (Fitter – Instrument): 2 Nos.
2. Workman (Fitter – General): 14 Nos.
3. Workman (Optical Worker): 32 Nos.
4. Workman (Machinist): 15 Nos.
5. Workman (Turner): 01 Nos.
6. Workman (Examiner): 03 Nos.
7. Workman (Miller): 20 Nos.
8. Workman (Electrician): 01 Nos.
9. Workman (Carpenter): 02 Nos.
N.B: From the total vacancies of 90 Nos., 08 is reserved for PH candidates and 19 is reserved of Ex-Servicemen.
Essential Qualification: Matriculation pass Plus NAC/NTC (National Apprenticeship Certificate/ National Trade Certificate) in relevant trade issued by NCVT.
Age Limit: between 18yrs to 32yrs as on last date of application. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.1800 per month
The selection of the candidates will be through Written Test which will comprise 100 marks and Trade Test (practical) as per semi-skilled grade.
Date and time of Written test/ practical test will be informed to the shortlisted candidates in due course.
Application Fee: Willing candidates may fee Application Fee of Rs.100/- (including Bank Charges) through SBI Bank Challan in A/C No.32642093045 (General Manager, Ordnance Factory and Dehradun). The Bank challan should be in prescribed application format (See below given PDF file)
SC/ST/ Ex-Servicemen and PWD candidates are exempted from the fee.
How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply on prescribed application format only along with attested copy (attestation by Gazetted Officer) of testimonials in support of qualification, age, caste, trade certificate, bank challan (department’s copy) and etc.
