1. OVERMAN
No. of Vacancies: 19 Nos. (Chasnalla, Jitpur & Tasra- 17 posts (UR-09, SC-02, ST-04, OBC-02), Ramnagore- 02 posts (UR))
Educational Qualification: Matriculation with 03 years Diploma in Mining Engineering from a recognised Institute with minimum 50% aggregate marks (40% aggregate marks for SC/ST/Departmental candidates) with Overmanship Certificate of Competency from DGMS, along with valid Gas Testing & First Aid Certificate.
Experience: At least one year post qualification experience.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 28 years as on 10/03/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs. 16800 – 24110/-
2. MINING SIRDAR
No. of Vacancies: 52 Nos. (Chasnalla, Jitpur & Tasra- 43 posts (UR-22, SC-05, ST-11, OBC-05), Ramnagore- 09 posts (UR-05, SC-02, OBC-02))
Educational Qualification: Matriculation from a recognised Institute with valid Mining Sirdar’s Certificate of Competency from DGMS under CMR (for Coal Mines), along with valid Gas Testing & First-Aid Certificate.
Experience: At least one year post qualification experience.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 28 years as on 10/03/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15830 – 22150/-
3. SURVEYOR
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (UR) (Chasnalla, Jitpur & Tasra)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation with 03 years full time Diploma in Mining & Mine’s Survey from a recognised Institute with minimum 50% aggregate marks (40% aggregate marks for SC/ST/Departmental candidates) with Surveyor’s Certificate of Competency.
Experience: At least one year post qualification experience.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 28 years as on 10/03/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs. 16800 – 24110/-
The vacancies are in different Collieries of Steel Authority of India (SAIL), Collieries Division.
The selected candidates will be placed on Probation for a period of one year.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Physical Standards:
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 155 cm; Chest (unexpanded) — 75cm; Chest (expanded) — 79 cm; Weight — 45 kg
(ii) Female Candidates: Height — 143 cm; Chest — 70 cm; Chest (expanded) — 73 cm; Weight — 35kg
Candidates must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Test and Skill Test/ Trade Test. The Written Test will be conducted at Ranchi.
