ICMR- National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis (NIRT) is recruiting eligible candidates for 27 posts of Junior Medical Officer (Consultant), Junior Nurse, Staff Nurse, Project Technician- III (Field Worker/ Pharmacist/ Laboratory Technician), Data Entry Operator, Senior Project Assistant (UDC), Project Technical Assistant (Pharmacist- Research Assistant), Project Technical Assistant (Research Assistant) and Staff Nurse cum FI. The candidates will be appointed on Contract basis initially for a period of One year and likely to be continued subject to satisfactory performance. The vacancies are under different projects implemented by ICMR- National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis (NIRT). 1. JUNIOR MEDICAL OFFICER (CONSULTANT)

Educational Qualification: MBBS degree from a recognized University.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.60,000/- per month.
2. JUNIOR NURSE
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos. (UR) (Madurai-01 & Chennai-01)
Educational Qualification: High school or equivalent with Science subjects plus certificate course in ANM from a recognized Institute/ Board.
Experience: Five years experience.
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 17,520/- per month.
3. STAFF NURSE
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (UR) (Chennai)
Educational Qualification: Diploma in Nursing or Midwifery (GNM) or Equivalent and registered Nurse or ANM with any State Nursing council.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.30,441/- per month.
4. PROJECT TECHNICIAN- III (FIELD WORKER)
No. of Vacancies: 07 Nos. (UR-04, OBC-02, SC-01) (Chennai-07 & Madurai-02)
Educational Qualification: 12th Pass in science subjects and two years Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician or PMW or related subject or one year DMLT plus one year required experience in a recognized organization or two years field/ laboratory experience (BSC degree shall be treated as 03 years experience) in a Govt. recognized organisation.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.17,520/- per month.
5. PROJECT TECHNICIAN- III (PHARMACIST)

Educational Qualification: 12th pass in Science subjects and two years Diploma in Pharmacy or with two years experience in Pharmaceutical Sciences in a recognized Hospital/ Institute or Graduate in Pharmacy/ Pharmaceutical Sciences or equivalent.

6. PROJECT TECHNICIAN- III (LABORATORY TECHNICIAN)
