IOCL, PARADIP REFINERY PROJECT INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR ENGAGEMENT OF APPRENTICES IN DIFFERENT DISCIPLINE. LAST DATE — 25/07/2015
1. Trade Apprentice / Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant), Discipline – Chemical
Number of Vacancies: 10 Nos.
Qualification: 3 years Full-Time B.Sc. (Physics, Maths, Chemistry/ Industrial Chemistry) with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST and PWD candidates) in aggregate.
2. Trade Apprentice (Fitter), Discipline–Mechanical
Number of Vacancies: 05 Nos.
Qualification: Matric with 2 (Two) years ITI (Fitter) course with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST and PWD candidates) in aggregate.
3. Technician Apprentice, Discipline – Chemical
Number of Vacancies: 20 Nos.
Qualification: 3 years Full-Time Diploma in Chemical Engineering / Refinery & Petrochemicals Engineering with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST and PWD candidates) in aggregate
4. Technician Apprentice, Discipline – Mechanical
Number of Vacancies: 10 Nos.
Qualification: 3 years Full-Time Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST and PWD candidates) in aggregate
5. Technician Apprentice, Discipline – Electrical
Number of Vacancies: 15 Nos.
Qualification: 3 years Full Time Diploma in Electrical Engineering with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST and PWD candidates) in aggregate
Note: The candidates should not have undergone Apprenticeship earlier or pursuing Apprenticeship Training. The candidate must have the prescribed qualification and age as on 31.07.2015.
Candidates possessing higher professional qualifications such as BE or equivalent, MBA or equivalent or MCA shall not be considered.
Age Limit: Minimum 18yrs and maximum 24yrs as on 31/07/2015. The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), 10 years for PWD- Un-reserved (UR), 13 years for PWD-OBC(Non-Creamy Layer) and 15 years for PWD-SC/ST candidates.
Consolidated Pay per month:
For Trade Apprentices (Chemical/ Mechanical): Rs.6970/- to 7220/- in first and second year respectively.
For Technician Apprentices (Chemical/ Mechanical/ Electrical): Rs.7530/-
Selected candidates will go for apprentices training which will be of 18 months and 12 months for Trade Apprentices and Technician Apprentices respectively.
After successful completion of Apprenticeship period, candidates may be considered for appointment / given due preference against vacancies in a regular post in respective disciplines. See officially released advertisement for more details.
