PERSONAL ASSISTANT GRADE-II
No. of Vacancies: 177 Nos. (UR-85, SC-24, ST-68. Out of the total posts 07 posts are reserved for PWD)
Educational Qualification:
i) Passed at least Higher Secondary or equivalent examination from a recognized Board/ University with minimum 45% marks in average (40% marks for reserved category candidates).
OR
Passed Madhyamik examination with 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category candidates) plus Stenography Course from any ITI.
i) Higher Secondary (H.S+2) or equivalent examination with minimum 35% marks in average OR have passed Madhyamik Examination with Stenography Course from any ITI with 35% marks in Madhyamik.
ii) Should have knowledge of operating Computer and certificate of minimum three months duration from any recognized University/ Institution.
iii) Should have proficiency in typing in English on computer and shorthand writing / transcription with minimum speed of 40 WPM and 100 WPM respectively.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years as on 01.10.2018. Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST/PH category.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5,700-24,000/- with Grade Pay of Rs.2,800/-
The post is Permanent in nature. The vacancies are under GA (P&T) Department.
Reserved Category candidates from the states other than Tripura shall be treated as General Candidates.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Preliminary Examination, Type Writing Test, Shorthand Writing & Transcription Test and Main Examination.
