1. NATIONAL COORDINATOR
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Ph.D./ M.Sc. in Wildlife Sciences, Life Sciences, Biological Sciences from any recognized University.
Experience: At least 07 years of experience in wildlife/ elephant conservation.
Desirable: i) Prior working experiences with government/ non-government conservation organizations with regard to wildlife sector.
ii) Publications on the subject matter will be an added advantage.
Age Limit: Maximum 45 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.1,00,000/- per month.
2. PROJECT SCIENTIST
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Ph.D./ M.Sc. in Wildlife Sciences, Life Sciences, Biological Sciences from any recognized University.
Experience: At least 03 years of experience in wildlife conservation.
Desirable: i) Prior research experience on elephants.
ii) Scientific publications on elephant research will be an added advantage.
Age Limit: Maximum 40 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.60,000/- per month.
3. PROJECT VETERINARIAN
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: M.VSc. (Veterinary Surgery, Medicine, Pathology, Wildlife Sciences).
Experience: At least 02 years of working experience.
Desirable: Prior experience of working on veterinary aspects of elephants will be an added advantage.
Age Limit: Maximum 40 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.60,000/- per month.
4. GIS SPECIALIST
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: M.Sc./ M.Tech in Wildlife Sciences, Life Sciences, Biological Sciences, Geoinformatics.
Experience: At least 02 years of experience in research/ conservation projects.
Desirable: Prior experience of working in conservation programs will be an added advantage.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.50,000/- per month.
The vacancies are for Elephant Cell at the Wildlife Institute of India (WII), Dehradun. Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Online Written Test and Personal Interview. The date of
Online Written Test is 24th June, 2019 and Personal Interview will start on 25th June, 2019 which may continue upto 26th June, 2019.
The Online Written Test will be held at Dehradun and the Personal Interview will be conducted at the WII campus in Dehradun.
