PhDs IN GRADE ‘B’ FOR RESEARCH POSITIONS
No. of Vacancies: 14 Nos. (UR-06, SC-03, ST-01, OBC-04. Out of the total posts, 01 post is reserved for PWD candidate))
Educational Qualification:
i) Ph.D. in areas of Economics or Finance from reputed University is minimum required qualification.
ii) High quality research potential of international standards and good communication skills are essential.
Age Limit: Below 34 years as on 01/10/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs.35150-62400/- (CTC of Rs.20.37 lakh per annum for Contract basis).
The candidates will be appointed on Permanent basis/ on Contract basis. The candidates may choose the option regarding appointment on Permanent basis or on Contract basis at the time of Interview.
The candidates appointed on Permanent basis will initially be on Probation for a period of two years.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Interview.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.600/- (Rs.100/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates) as Application Fee. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking or any other option available. Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO ANYWHERE AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
