1. PRINCIPAL, INDUSTRIAL TRAINING INSTITUTE/ ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF TRAINING
No. of Vacancies: 09 Nos. (GT-02, BC(OBCM)-02, BC(M)-01, MBC/DC-02, SC-02)
Educational Qualification: A degree in any branch of Engineering or Technology of any recognised University or Institution.
Experience: Not less than 03 years of practical experience in a workshop or factory.
Age Limit: Minimum 24 years and maximum 30 years as on 01/07/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs.56100 -177500/-
2. ASSISTANT ENGINEER (INDUSTRIES)
No. of Vacancies: 32 Nos. (GT-10, BC(OBCM)-09, MBC/DC-06, SC-06, ST-01)
Educational Qualification: Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology degree of any discipline except Civil Engineering and Architectural Engineering of any recognized University/ Institution.
Preference will be given to:-
i) Candidates who have completed one year of apprenticeship under the Government of India Scheme or One year of training under the State Government Apprenticeship Scheme.
ii) Persons released from Emergency commissioned Officers or Short Service regular Commissioned Officers or other Ex-Servicemen having experience in armed forces for appointment to the post.
Experience: Not less than 06 months of practical experience in General purpose Engineering Workshop or in an Engineering Industry or in a recognized concern.
OR
Not less than 06 months of practical experience in a supervisory or operative capacity connected with production of goods or material or operation and maintenance of machinery and equipment in a recognized concern.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 35 years as on 01/07/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs.37700 – 119500/-
The candidates will be appointed on Direct Recruitment basis. The vacancies are under Tamil Nadu Employment and Training Service and Tamil Nadu Industries Subordinate Service.
Note: Candidates should possess adequate knowledge in Tamil.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
No maximum age limit for Reserved Category candidates. No maximum age limit means that the applicants should not have completed 58 years of age.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Examination and Oral Test. The Written Examination will be held on 02/03/2019. The examination will be held at various centres across the State. The Oral Test will be conducted tentatively in the month of June, 2019.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.150/- for applying the post of Assistant Engineer (Industries) & Rs.200/- for applying for both the posts of Principal, Industrial Training Institute/ Assistant Director of Training and Assistant Engineer (Industries) as Examination Fee. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank by means of fee payment Challan. Note: It is mandatory for candidates to register their basic particulars through One-Time online Registration system on payment of Rs.150/- towards registration fee.
