1. PROJECT SCIENTIST (CONSERVATION GENETICIST/ ECOLOGIST)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (WII, Dehradun / Field Sites)
Name of the project: WII-NTCA Tiger Cell.
Educational Qualification: M.Sc in Bio-technology/ Bio Sciences/ Wildlife Science/ Life Sciences / Zoology/ Forestry / Veterinary Sciences with 03 or more years post qualification research experience OR PhD in any of the above disciplines.
Age Limit: Maximum 45 years as on 16.08.2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.54,300/- per month.
2. PROJECT SCIENTIST (ECOLOGIST/ SOCIOLOGIST-OUTREACH)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (Thar Desert/ Kachchh/ Solapur/ WII)
Name of the project: Habitat Improvement and Conservation Breeding of Great Indian Bustard.
Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Social Sciences / Mass Communication / Public Policy / Wildlife Sciences / Zoology / Life Sciences / Forestry / Veterinary Sciences with more than 03 years’ experience OR PhD in any of the above disciplines.
Age Limit: Maximum 45 years as on 16.08.2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.54,300/- per month.

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Online Test and Personal Interview. The Online test will be conducted at the following centres namely Dehradun, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi and Kolkata on 2nd September, 2018. Personal Interview will be held on 26th September, 2018 at Wildlife Institute of India, Chandrabani Campus, Dehradun.
