CSIR-Central Electronics Research Institute is recruiting eligible candidates for 06 posts of Junior Research Fellow (P) and Project Assistant-II. The vacancies are in various projects mentioned below. The candidates will be appointed on Temporary basis initially for a period of 06 (six) months, which may be extended or curtailed depending on the tenure of the project/ satisfactory performance of the candidates. 1. JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (P)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Project Title: Nanopatterned bioactive functionally graded porous Ti spinal fusion device with antibacterial activity and cell compatibility fabricated by 3 D metal printer.
Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Biotechnology with NET/ GATE OR M.Tech. in Biotechnology/ Nanotechnology with NET/ GATE.
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.31, 000/- per month.
2. PROJECT ASSISTANT-II
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Project Title: Large Scale Single-step Synthesis of Boron Carbide through Molten salt Electrolysis.
Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Chemistry/ Physics with 55% marks (50% marks for SC/ST candidates).
Desirable: Experience in basic concepts of metallurgy.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.25, 000/- per month.
3. PROJECT ASSISTANT-II
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos.
Project Title: In-silico guided design of Corrosion inhibiting molecules to Materials (CIM2M).
Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Chemistry/ Physics with 55% marks (50% marks for SC/ST candidates).
Desirable: NET/ GATE candidates may be preferred.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.25, 000/- per month.
4. PROJECT ASSISTANT-II
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Project Title: In-silico guided design of Corrosion inhibiting molecules to Materials (CIM2M).
Educational Qualification: B.E/ B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering/ M.Sc.Materials Science with 55% marks (50% marks for SC/ST candidates).
Desirable: NET/ GATE candidates may be preferred.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.25, 000/- per month.
5. JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (P)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Project Title: Manipulation of Quantized Conductance for Multilevel Atomic-Scale Devices using Confined Redox-Phenomenon.
Educational Qualification: M.Sc. Physics/ Chemistry/ Materials Science with 55% marks (50% marks for SC/ST candidates) and NET/ GATE OR M.Tech. in Nanoscience/ Nanotechnology/ Materials Science.
Desirable: Experience in the fabrication of nano-scaled devices.
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.25, 000/- per month.

Note: Final year/ semester students awaiting results are not eligible to apply.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST/PWD/Women and 03 years for OBC category.
