The vacancies are under different projects. The candidates will be appointed on Contractual basis initially for One year, which can be extended depending on the candidate’s performance, programme needs and the project duration. (A) BIODIVERSITY CONSERVATION AND GANGA REJUVENATION UNDER NATIONAL MISSION FOR CLEAN GANGA (NMCG).

1. PROJECT FELLOW 
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Project name: Establishment of Ganga Aqualife Conservation Monitoring Centre (Component-1).
Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree in Wildlife Science/ Zoology/ Environment Science or Related subjects.
Experience: One year or more experience in relevant field.
Desirable: i) Research/ conservation experience on aquatic ecology.
ii) Good communication skills.
iii) Efficiency in Computer use such MS Office and statistical packages.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on 30/04/2019.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 32,000/- per month.

 

2. PROJECT ASSISTANT GRADE- II (TECHNICAL)
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos.
Project name: Establishment of Ganga Aqualife Conservation Monitoring Centre (Component-1).
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Science with subjects related to Zoology/ Life Science/ Biotechnology or related subjects.
Desirable: i) Experience of working with wildlife/ Field ecology/ Biodiversity conservation.
ii) Good communication skills.
iii) Efficiency in Computer use such MS Office.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on 30/04/2019.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 20,000/- per month.

 

3. PROJECT ASSISTANT GRADE- II (TECHNICAL)

Project name: Capacity Building of Forest Department and other stakeholders (Component-3).
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree with Wildlife Sciences/ Forestry/ Zoology/ Botany/ Life science or related subjects.
Desirable: i) Experience of working with wildlife/ Field ecology/ Biodiversity conservation.
ii) Efficiency in Computer use such MS Office.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on 30/04/2019.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 20,000/- per month.

 

4. PROJECT FELLOW
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos.
Project name: Establishment of Rescue and Rehabilitation Programme (Component-4).
Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree in Wildlife Science/ Zoology/ M.V.Sc/ Environment Science or Related subjects with more than 01 year experience in relevant field OR B.V.Sc with 02 years of experience in relevant field.
Desirable: Experience of working with wildlife Rescue and rehabilitation or wildlife disease investigation.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on 30/04/2019.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 32,000/- per month.

 

5. COMMUNITY OFFICER
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos.
Project name: Community Based Conservation Programmes for Species Restoration in Ganga River (Component-5).
Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree in Wildlife Science/ Botany/ Zoology/ Environment Science/ Environment Management/ Biodiversity Studies & Management/ Sociology/ Economics/ Social Works or Related subjects.
Experience: One year or more experience in relevant field.
Desirable: Experience of working on livelihood issues of local communities.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on 30/04/2019.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 32,000/- per month.

 

6. PROJECT ASSISTANT GRADE-II (TECHNICAL)
No. of Vacancies: 03 Nos.
Project name: Community Based Conservation Programmes for Species Restoration in Ganga River (Component-5).
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in subjects related to Life Sciences/ Business Management/ Humanities or Social Sciences.
Desirable: i) Experience in conducting social survey and stakeholder analysis.
ii) Experience of development and management of database and web designing.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on 30/04/2019.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 20,000/- per month.

 

7. PROJECT FELLOW

Project name: Nature Interpretation and education for Biodiversity conservation of Ganga River (Component-6).
Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree in Environment Management or Wildlife Science or related subject.
Experience: One year or more experience.
Desirable: i) Experience of developing awareness material related to nature education.
ii) Good communication skills.
iii) Efficiency in Computer use such MS Office.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on 30/04/2019.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 32,000/- per month.

 

8. PROJECT ASSISTANT GRADE- II (TECHNICAL)
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos.
Project name: Nature Interpretation and education for Biodiversity conservation of Ganga River (Component-6).
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in subjects related to Life Sciences, Humanities or Social Sciences.
Desirable: i) Experience of collecting field based information on human dimension.

9. PROJECT ASSISTANT GRADE- II (FINE ARTS)

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts.
Desirable: i) Experience sketching, digital drawing, graphic design and painting.

(B) CAMPA-SANGAI PROJECT.

10. PROJECT FELLOW 
No. of Vacancies: 03 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree in Wildlife Sciences/ Zoology/ Botany/ Forestry/ Environmental Science or Management/ Life Sciences or related subjects.
Desirable: i) Working experience on ecological sampling.
ii) Ability to work in harsh field conditions.
iii) Good communication skills.
iv) Efficiency in Computer use such MS Office.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on 30/04/2019.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 32,000/- per month.

 

11. PROJECT ASSISTANT GRADE- II (TECHNICAL)
No. of Vacancies: 03 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in subjects in any discipline of Biological Sciences/ Social Sciences with 60% aggregate marks.
Desirable: Knowledge of Computer in MS Office, Internet and email.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on 30/04/2019.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 20,000/- per month.

 

12. PROJECT ASSISTANT GRADE- II (TECHNICAL)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Physical Sciences/ B.Tech./ BCA or related subjects.
Desirable: Working knowledge on mapping using GIS LIDAR and Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS).
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on 30/04/2019.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 20,000/- per month.

 

The vacancies are under different projects. The candidates will be appointed on Contractual basis initially for One year, which can be extended depending on the candidate’s performance, programme needs and the project duration.

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Online Written Test and Personal Interview. The Online Written Test will be held on 12th May, 2019. Personal Interview will be held on 13th May, 2019 which may continue upto 14th May, 2019. The Online Written Test will be held at Dehra Dun and Personal Interview will be conducted at the Wildlife Institute of India (WII) in its campus.
