The candidates will be appointed on Contractual basis initially for a period of Six months/ One year, which can be extended depending on the performance of the candidates and the project requirement. I. FOR SPECIES CONSERVATION PROGRAM “DEVELOPMENT OF CONSERVATION ACTION PLAN FOR RIVER DOLPHINS”.

1. PROJECT FELLOW- ECOLOGY 
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos.
Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Biological Sciences/ Wildlife/ Fisheries/ Forestry/ Environment/ Botany/ Zoology/ Geoinformatics/ Biodiversity Conservation.
Desirable: i) Aptitude for field work.
ii) Experience of working on in aquatic ecosystem.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.28,000/- per month.

 

2. PROJECT ASSISTANT GRADE- 2 (ECOLOGY/ SOCIOLOGY)
No. of Vacancies: 04 Nos.
Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Biological Sciences/ Sociology/ Zoology/ Botany/ Forestry/ Life Sciences/ Social Sciences/ Economics.
Desirable: i) Aptitude for field work.
ii) Experience of working on in aquatic ecosystem.
OR
Experience of sociology work with a community or a tribe.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.20,000/- per month.

 

3. PROJECT ASSISTANT GENETICS
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Biological Science/ Genetics/ Biotechnology, Life Science.
Desirable: Experience in molecular biology.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.20,000/- per month.

 

II. PROJECT TITLE: ALL INDIA ASSESSMENT OF STATUS OF TIGERS, CO-PREDATORS AND PREY AND THEIR HABITATS.

4. RESEARCH BIOLOGIST 
No. of Vacancies: 05 Nos.
Educational Qualification: B.E./ B.Tech./ B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Wildlife Science/ Botany/ Zoology/ Forestry/ Life Sciences/ Environmental Sciences/ Environmental Management/ Agricultural Sciences/ Veterinary Sciences/ Biotechnology/ Genetics with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks from a recognized University.
Desirable: i) Candidates with prior experience in sampling design and animal abundance estimation will be preferred.
ii) Able to do field work in harsh condition.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years for B.E./ B. Tech./M.Sc. and 28 years for B.Sc as on 20/12/2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.25,000/- (for B.E./B. Tech./M.Sc. candidates) & Rs.20,000/- (for B.Sc. candidates) per month.

 

III. PROJECT TITLE: MONITORING SYSTEM FOR TIGERS’ INTENSIVE PROTECTION AND ECOLOGICAL STATUS (MSTRIPES).

5. PROJECT BIOLOGIST 
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Post graduate degree in Zoology/ Life Science/ Wildlife Science/ Botany/ Forestry/ Environmental Science with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks from a recognized University.
Desirable: i) Candidates having field experience in conducting ecological research and monitoring will be given preference.
ii) Experience in animal abundance estimation, analytical skills and competency in ecological software is desirable.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on 20/12/2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.25,000/- per month.

 

6. PROJECT ASSISTANT (GIS COMPONENT)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Post Graduate in Science/ Life Science/ Environmental Science/ Applied Science/ Remote Sensing and GIS/ M.A Geography.
OR
Post Graduate/ Diploma in Remote Sensing and GIS.
OR
B.Tech in Geo Informatics/ Environmental Engineering/ Remote Sensing and GIS with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks from a recognized University.
Desirable: Experience in Remote Sensing and GIS, competency in Arc GIS, ERDAS IMAGINE and other Open Source Software (Q GIS etc.) shall be given preference.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years for B.E./ B. Tech./M.Sc. and 28 years for B.Sc as on 20/12/2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.20,000/- per month.

 

IV. PROJECT TITLE: TIGER CELL.

7. SENIOR BIOLOGIST 
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Wildlife Sciences/ Zoology/ Botany/ Life Sciences/ Forestry/ Environmental Science/ Veterinary Science with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in M.Sc. from a recognized University.
Experience: At least 02 years of research experience.
Desirable: i) Candidates with prior experience in animal abundance estimation techniques.
ii) Proficiency in using computers and good writing skill in English language.
iii) Publication record desirable.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on 20/12/2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.40,000/- per month.
