ASSISTANT PROGRAMME OFFICER
No. of Vacancies: 50 Nos. (UR-23, SC-11, ST-03, OBC-10, PH-02, Meritorious Sportspersons*-01)

 

Educational Qualification: Degree from a recognized University or its equivalent.

 

NOTE: Candidates must have ability to read, write and speak in Bengali (Not applicable to the candidates whose mother tongue in Nepali).

 

Age Limit: Minimum-21 years and maximum-39 years as on 01/01/2017.

 

Pay Scale: Rs.7,100 – Rs.37,600 and Grade Pay Rs.3,900/-

 

Sports eligibility for 01 post reserved for Meritorious Sportsperson:
*Meritorious Sportsperson in the area of International Competition, National Competition, Inter-University Tournament and National Sports/Games for School Education in the following list of Sports:-

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.

Candidates belonging to the reserved category of state other than West Bengal, will be treated as General Candidates.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Preliminary Examination, Final Examination and Personality Test.
Preliminary Examination will be held in Kolkata centre as well as in Burdwan, Medinipur, Malda and Siliguri centre tentatively on 16/09/2017 and Final Examination will be held in Kolkata.
