JUNIOR ENGINEERS – (CIVIL/MECHANICAL/ELECTRICAL)
Educational Qualification:
i) Diploma in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
ii) Candidates must able to read, write and speak in Bengali (not required for those candidates whose mother tongue is Nepali).
iii) Good health and character suitability in all respects for appointment to Government Service.
Age Limit: Not more than 36 years as on 01/01/2017.
Pay Scale: Rs.9,000- Rs.40,500 and Grade Pay of Rs.4,400/-
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates belonging to the reserved category of state other than West Bengal, will be treated as General Candidates.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be based on Written Examination and Personality Test. Written Examination will be held in Kolkata North & Kolkata South centers on 18/02/2018.

Candidates must first register themselves with the commission’s website by clicking the button “One Time Registration“. Candidates who have registered earlier may directly login to their dashboard in order to proceed to online application.
Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO ANYWHERE AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
