Punjab Urban Planning and Development Authority (PUDA) is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 270 posts of Sub Divisional Engineer (Civil and Public Health), Junior Engineer (Civil and Public Health), Senior Assistant (A/Cs) and Clerk-cum-Data Entry Operator. 1. SUB DIVISIONAL ENGINEER

No. of Vacancies: 16 Nos.

Category wise vacancies:

i) Civil: 11 posts (Gen-05, SC-03, BC-01, EXSM-01, PWD-01)

ii) Public Health: 05 posts (Gen-03, SC-02)

Educational Qualification: Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.

Candidates should pass Departmental Professional examination to be conducted by

the Punjab PWD or PUDA as may be decided by the Appointing Authority within a period of 2 ½ years.

Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-37 years as on 01.11.2016

Pay Scale: Rs.15600/- Rs.39100/-

 

2. JUNIOR ENGINEER

No. of Vacancies: 138 Nos.

Category wise vacancies:

i) Civil: 82 posts (Gen-40, SC-16, BC-09, EXSM-11, Sportperson-02, PWD-03, Freedom fighter-01)

ii) Public Health: 56 posts (Gen-28, SC-11, BC-06, EXSM-07, Sportperson-02, PWD-02)

Educational Qualification: Diploma in Civil Engineering or its equivalent qualifications.

Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-37 years as on 01.11.2016

Pay Scale: Rs.15600/- Rs.39100/-

 

3. SENIOR ASSISTANT (A/Cs)

No. of Vacancies: 43 Nos.

Educational Qualification: B.Com with a minimum score of 50% marks.

Candidates should possess least one hundred and twenty hours Course with hands on experience in the use of Personal Computer or Information Technology Office Productivity Applications or Desktop Publishing Applications.

OR

Certification in usage of Computers equivalent to “O” Level certificate of Department of Electronics Accreditation of Computer Courses (DOEACC)

Preference will be given to candidates who have done Post Graduation in Commerce and/or have done a Certification Course in the use of accounting software.

Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-37 years as on 01.11.2016

Pay Scale: Rs.10300/- Rs.34800/-

 

4. CLERK-CUM-DATA ENTRY OPERATOR

No. of Vacancies: 73 Nos.

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree and Possesses at least one hundred and twenty hours course with hands on experience in the use of Personal Computer or Information Technology Office Productivity Applications or Desktop Publishing Applications OR Possesses a Computer Information Technology course equivalent to “O” Level certificate of Department of Electronics Accreditation of Computer Courses (DOEACC).

Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-37 years as on 01.11.2016

Pay Scale: Rs.10300/- Rs.34800/-

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection will be based on the qualification and a Written Examination. Written Examination will be held at S.A.S. Nagar (Mohali).
